Eating healthy is delicious, nutritious, easy and fun! Really, it truly can be good for you and taste good too! Also, it’s not one diet fits all. Our bodies are unique and we each have bio-individual (biologically individual) needs. Learning to listen to your body is essential to sustaining vibrant health!
Nourish the whole self. Find what inspires you and do a little bit of this every day. Maybe its reading a good novel, spending time with friends and family, making art, walking in nature or singing in the choir. Do what you love! “Healthy” is dependent on many essential forms of nourishment. Knowing what to eat is as important as feeding our hunger for play, fun, romance, love, achievement, success, self-expression, adventure and spirit.
Energize
Food can either weigh you down, tire you out, OR energize and sustain you throughout the day.
Knowing what to eat, when to eat it and how to eat it can help balance energy levels to keep you going strong all day long! Clean eating is the best way to fuel your body.
Thrive
Our quality of life depends on our many relationships in life working in harmony together. Eating clean, nutritious foods along with exercise and activity every day, as well as, supportive relationships, a sense of purpose, financial stability and healthy ways to cope with daily stress are all parts of a thriving lifestyle.

My Story
My passion for food, cooking and healthy lifestyle was largely influenced by my upbringing. My mother and father raised my siblings and myself on a mostly plant based diet. I grew up eating lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains and other natural foods. My parents, mom especially, instilled in me at a young age the importance of healthy eating. Thanks mom and dad!
As a teenager, I was very excited about learning how to cook. I began experimenting with different foods and flavors in the kitchen. This ignited my passion for the culinary arts! At the age of nineteen I started working at a popular natural foods restaurant, cooking and eventually becoming a part owner. I went on to work as a personal chef for clients wanting to improve their health through food. For the majority of my life I’ve worked in the natural foods and restaurant industry. Sharing beautiful, delicious and healthful food is definitely a passion of mine.
A defining point in my story occurred when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis she passed away. I was seventeen and loosing my mom so young was devastating. This experience made me ask the question, “What truly makes a person healthy and whole?” It became my mission to learn from the experts in the field of nutrition, health and wellness.
I passionately pursued a career in holistic healing. I studied acupressure, macrobiotic cooking, nutrition, a variety of bodywork modalities, cooking methods and dietary theories. I also discovered yoga. Yoga helped me stay connected and grounded. I learned to listen to my body, calm my mind and be kind to myself.
While I was pursuing my education in nutrition I realized how it all fit together. I discovered “healthy” is dependent on many essential forms of nourishment. Knowing what to eat is as important as feeding our hunger for play, fun, romance, love, achievement, success, self-expression, adventure and spirit.
I spend my time cooking, enjoying the outdoors, gardening, adventuring, practicing yoga and creating lasting memories with friends and family. I love the work I do because I get to help people transform their health and experience more balance and joy. My mission is to empower people to eat healthier and cook more so they can nourish, energize and thrive.
